C-U Construction did a fantastic job on replacing my roof. They went the extra mile and dealt with an issue I had with my chimney which was outside of the scope of their responsibility. I would definitely hire them again.

We worked with Jarin and his team to install car charger in our garage. Jarin came up with a creative and cheaper solution, since the power that was available in the garage wasn't enough to power the car. The whole process went smooth, the team went above and beyond. Definitely would recommend the C-U Under Construction and Jarin's team!

Where do we begin? We are extremely happy with the jobs done by the crew at CU Under Construction.Our new roof was made possible by KC Victor who would not give up after our insurance company turned us down 4 times for hail damage which occurred in September 2022.Mike Randolph worked hard behind the scene, always taking our phone calls and staying on top of our insurance claim insuring that we got every dollar we were owed for the property damage.Our exterior make-over project came to fruition at the suggestion and input of KC Victor. My home was struck by a tornado last year. I chose CU Under Construction to put it back together simply based off of the online reviews. They have absolutely met and exceeded my expectations. They have been so kind, timely, and professional. They helped navigate the nightmare that is a massive insurance claim. I made many changes/ upgrades to my home along the way. They were more than willing to accommodate my ever-changing ideas and bring them to reality. We are now back in our home and only final touches remain. They have continued to be great about seeing this project through to the end. I hope no one ever needs the extensive remodel that we did, but if you do, you should absolutely use CU Under Construction. You will not be disappointed!

Bill and Nathan are heroes in my book! I called C-U when I was hearing kittens but could not find them. C-U sent out Bill and Nathan out, they found them and got them out, including one who had gotten stuck and was in serious trouble. C-U and their crew saves kittens. 100/10 will call them again!

Tyler Crowl was my project manager and he was super. I had some health issues that created some unique requirements. Tyler was able and willing to accommodate all of my special needs. He even went above and beyond for me on some of those needs. He seemed masterful at coordinating the different work crews to be at my place at the right times, so as not to be in conflict with each other. There were a couple of days at the end of my project that required more than one work crew to be working at the same time. When that happened, the work crews were very accommodating to each other. There was no " how can you help me" , but rather, " how can I help you " to get the job done. A big shout out goes to Nate, Randy, Ryan, Korbyn Fatammia, Jacob, Owen, Brandon, Mark, just to name a few. Chad Detamore was my initial contact with CU Under Construction. He came to my place to see what I wanted done and to then work up an estimate. He worked with me from start to finish to see that the project stayed on budget. Kudos to Chad for all of his work, that resulted in my project actually coming in under budget. That's right, UNDER budget. Courtney and Christina were very helpful in keeping the communications, with regards to any changes I wanted done, and the resulting cost difference, open. For all the above reasons, I would, without any hesitation, recommend CU UnderConstructionfor any project a homeowner wants done.

I have called CU Under Construction in the past for roofing,siding and gutter replacement work relating to hail damage. We were so satisfied, we called them for some remodeling--replacement of french doors which ended up being a bit more work than we thought because we needed to replace framing and one support beam and they did a great job diagnosing and addressing the issues. I trust their diagnoses, workmanship and expertise. Everyone we have dealt with was helpful, skilled and did a great job. Most recently, we had a dishwasher motor leak cause water to leak into our cabinet boxes. Upon removing the damaged cabinet boxes, they found damaged drywall, kept us and our insurance adjuster informed and did a great job. They were on time, professional, friendly and skilled. They listened to specific concerns I had and then replaced the damaged drywall, cabinets while taking precautions so as not to cause any health issues for our family members. Through no fault of theirs, a countertop arrived damaged and so they made sure we could use our kitchen until an undamaged countertop arrived. We highly recommend Cu Under Construction!

MY HOUSE HAD FLOODED!! I called a construction company in town that was doing a lot of advertising since they merged their business. They did come out and talk to me about doing repair work but I couldn't get them to return my calls with additional questions. If I couldn't get them to return phone calls, why would I want to do business with them?Someone had suggested contacting C-U Under Construction. I had no experience with them and no knowledge of their reputation in CU. It turns out that their were an excellent choice to do what I needed to get my home back in pre-flood condition.ADDISON BOYD came out to see what I needed. He was very pleasant and highly experienced. He thought of and suggested things I might consider for the repairs. As I had no experience at flood repair and insurance claims his insights were extremely helpful. I sensed his customer care and felt he was concerned with the correct kind of work needed and the quality of that work. I read reviews on C-U Under Construction showing just those standards.Their company took over coordinating old flooring removal, furniture move out and in, floor installation with Flooring Surfaces and carpentry work. Having them tie all 3 functions together and seeing to all the details was huge for me. It gave me ONE COMPANY to deal with!!For any wood working be sure to get RANDY/CARPENTER for wood work trim out. He has a high standard of work excellence and he knows what you need even before you do. He makes sure your woodwork is professional.Finally, the Project Supervisor TYLER CROWL, he kept it all flowing together in a timely and professional way. If something needed his review, his people were right on the phone with him. He always stopped by to check on the project, answer questions, check for quality and see to any detail that needed smoothing. He can even calmly handled a stressed out homeowner! He was quick to answer any texts and phone calls. He made you feel like he had time for your needs and that you were an important customer for them. He went way beyond the normal expected work level and did some little things that made me a VERY HAPPY CUSTOMER!

I can't thank C-U Under Construction enough for the beautiful job they did on our new multi-level composite deck. From the first consultation until the completion of the whole project, I was given excellent customer service and communication. Tyler had a can-do attitude when I told him about my ideas, and he made our vision a reality. He was able to present a 3D design and exact price quote, which other companies we spoke to would not offer for this complex design. Landon, our project manager, went above and beyond to handle all of the details and provided above and beyond communication throughout the project. Jeff and team were meticulous about every detail of the construction, and the workmanship is superior to anything I've ever seen. Every single employee, from the electricians to the guys who picked up the equipment, were wonderful and professional. The finished project and the whole experience exceeded our expectations by far. We have already signed up to have our next project, new siding, completed by the C-U Under construction team. Thank you!

I had an excellent experience with CU! I highly recommend asking for Jarrod Brant, he was incredibly knowledgeable and made sure all my questions were answered. He went above and beyond to make sure all my needs were met, which made the experience so much better.

CU Trade Services recently put in a new AC unit for our rental house when the old one suddenly broke. They came fast when we needed help and all the employees we dealt with were great.We also just had new countertops installed in our kitchen we purchased through CU Under Construction. Again, we couldn’t have asked for better service and the templater and installers did a super job and were very nice guys to deal with.

Jeremy has been at my rental properties several times. He has done quality plumbing work and is very friendly to my tenants. If I have any future problems I will be sure to call CU Under Construction.

CU Under Construction has been fantastic to work with! Have used their HVAC service and couldn’t be happier. I purchased an ecobee thermostat and my set up only had 4 wires and the ecobee called for 5. I hired CU to come out and replace the wire and they had an alternative solution for the wiring which saved me hundreds of dollars! On top of that, my sensor that I purchased with the ecobee was bad and they took it for me and filed a warranty replacement on my behalf even though I didn’t purchase the unit from them. I’m a customer for life!

Great people to work with quick calls back will use again on next project

CU Under Construction installed a little under 100 front doors for our property last summer in just under a week. They were quick, proficient and very easy to work with. They communicated with our residents effectively and handled all their questions in a timely response. Really looking forward to working with them again.

The craftsmen at C-U Under Construction, especially Jarrod, did a wonderful job on re-creating my master bathroom. They are very professional and did a meticulous job. This was especially difficult with the Covid pandemic and the unexpected delays that brought to the project so although the project took longer than expected it was completed to a beautiful finish that was worth waiting for.

Wonderful, professional, competent and trustworthy. While I’m an Illinois resident I primarily live and work out of state. Wish we had contractors like this around us!
