When something goes wrong, we help you understand what comes next—and coordinate the restoration so nothing gets missed.
After property damage, most uncertainty comes from not knowing how the restoration process actually works. Homeowners and business owners often have questions about documentation, insurance involvement, sequencing of repairs, and who is responsible for coordinating each step. Delays and missed details usually occur early, before a clear plan is in place or the full scope of damage is understood.
Our role is to help Savoy property owners establish that plan. We start by assessing the damage, documenting what needs to be addressed, and outlining the scope of work so decisions are based on complete, accurate information. From there, we coordinate repairs across trades and communicate clearly about timing, dependencies, and what needs attention now versus what can wait. By keeping restoration planning and construction under one team, we reduce gaps that commonly lead to confusion, rework, or unexpected costs later.

Restoration involves more than repairs. These are the areas we focus on to keep Savoy projects organized, documented, and moving forward.
We assess visible and hidden damage so the scope reflects what actually needs to be addressed, not just what’s immediately obvious.
Measurements, photos, and notes are recorded early to support insurance review and avoid gaps later in the process.
We help communicate scope and documentation with insurance adjusters so decisions are based on complete, accurate information.
Plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and structural work are planned together to reduce conflicts and rework.
Work is scheduled in the correct order to prevent delays that often happen when trades overlap or wait on one another.
Board-up, tarping, or temporary stabilization is coordinated when needed to prevent additional damage.
Replacement materials are reviewed early to account for availability, lead times, and compatibility with the existing structure.
We monitor work as it progresses to ensure repairs remain aligned with the documented scope.
Throughout the process, we explain what’s happening and what comes next so homeowners aren’t left guessing.
Property damage is disruptive, stressful, and rarely happens at a convenient time. Most people in Savoy don’t deal with restoration often, and it’s normal to feel unsure about what to do first, who to call, or how the insurance side works. That uncertainty can make an already difficult situation feel harder than it needs to be.
At C-U Under Construction, we focus on being a steady point of coordination during an otherwise chaotic process. We help document the damage, communicate clearly, and move repairs forward in a way that respects both your property and your day-to-day life. Whether you’re dealing with water damage, fire loss, or another unexpected event, our goal is to support you with clarity, responsiveness, and a plan you can trust—so you’re not left guessing at each step.

They were so pleasant and friendly and really cleaned up nicely afterward. All the CU Under Construction people are fabulous!!!Posted on Kay PTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We recently bought a home that was built in the 1970s. The kitchen was in desperate need of an update. We decided to hire CU Under Construction immediately after our first meeting with the sales rep, Chad. There was no doubt this was a top notch company. Chad was phenomenal throughout the process. Our kitchen update was extensive involving removal of an external wall, a half bath, laundry room, dining room and a 2-room large kitchen. They also removed all of our baseboard heaters and installed a new furnace. Jarrod was assigned as our project manager. He was truly amazing. He communicated with us frequently throughout the project and always responded to us promptly. Given the magnitude of this project, there were many moving parts. Jarrod never missed a beat. He always knew the status of the project. Everyone involved in this project was extremely competent and professional. We didn’t encounter one issue through the process. It was truly seamless. Emily, the project assistant, worked with me one on one to pick out everything including the flooring, countertops all the way down to the handles on the doors. She was truly a gem. There were several selections I had to make that caused me great anxiety. With her extensive experience in this field, she was very familiar with all the various product options and would talk me through my selections quickly minimizing my stress. I honestly cannot say enough about Shaun and Corbin, the carpenters. These two guys were so easy to work with and extremely knowledgeable. Their carpentry skills are outstanding. There were several times throughout the project that they were faced with complicated issues that required the skill set of a craftsman. Without any hesitation, these two would put their heads together and figure it out. We couldn’t have been more impressed. Greg, the electrician, was also simply incredible. He was very personable, professional and competent. He was always thinking 10 steps ahead when working on our project. We really enjoyed working with him. Lastly, there are so many folks at CU Under Construction that made our kitchen remodel a success and too many to mention. Everyone we worked with was knowledgeable, professional and respectful. Our kitchen is more beautiful than we could have ever imagined. If you’re looking for a construction company to do a project for you, give them a call. You will not be disappointed. Thank you to everyone at CU Under Construction—we LOVE our new kitchen.Posted on Faye cTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Three years ago, we had C-U Under Construction remediate a major insurance claim on our condo. The unit above ours had a burst washing machine hose that steadily pumped water down to our unit. It was raining inside! C-U worked seamlessly with our insurance company and the other unit involved. Excellent work! Very professional! Fast-forward to today. We sold the condo and the buyers is asking us to look at an area of concern. Mike Randolph was out there the next day and quickly provided a professional assessment using the latest technology. To top it off, C-U did not charge for the assessment. Top notch! Recommendation: Hire this group for your next project!Posted on Janet CTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. CU Under Construction contributed greatly to a project at our office building in Savoy. The quality of work was excellent, and they shifted schedules around so that the work could get done within our timeframe. The painters were precise and professional. The carpet installers were great at their craft and willing to work over the weekend to get ahead on the project. The project manager was very responsive to my needs and questions. I would highly recommend working with CU Under Construction!Posted on Henry wTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.
